Dog grooming courses

Make a new exciting career for yourself

Pet owners course One morning only (3 hour course)This course is for pet owners who want to learn how to pamper their pets at home. In this course, you will learn how to clean their ears, eyes, and teeth, brush out their coat, trim their nails and bathe and dry them correctly. Please note dates and times may vary.
Cost of the course: £100

2 day course (basic practical)This course is a hands-on programme. In this course, you will be required to complete a basic programme of practical grooming. This course is ideal for anyone wanting to perform regular pampering on their own pets. Typically, you will be working on at least two different types of breeds per day.
On completion of this course, you will receive a certificate in basic grooming techniques from us.
Cost of the course: £400

5 day course (introductory practical)This course is ideal for anyone considering looking at dog grooming as a possible career option. This programme covers all the basics of basic grooming and similar topics as the ten-day course. At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate of achievement from us. You will also receive your own pair of finishing scissors.
Cost of the course: £950

10 day course (intermediate practical)This course is a practical hands-on course. Ideal for anyone looking at dog grooming as a career option, this programme covers all the basics. We make sure you will be working on at least 2 different breeds per day. On completion of the course, you will receive the Hair 'N' Houndz diploma in grooming and canine beautician ship. We will also provide you with your very own pair of finishing scissors.
